Centrally located in south Down and overlooking the Mourne mountains, this detached bungalow has been tastefully redecorated and boasts many extras to suit young and large families.

The House

‘Rathmourne’ has three comfortable bedrooms (one double and two twins) and is ideal for walkers in the Mournes, golfers (Royal Co. Down and others within thirty mins) and historians (the Bronte homeland is right on our doorstep). Rathfriland, the nearest town, is 3 miles away and public transport is within walking distance.

You are welcome to park anywhere around the bungalow as we do not need to open the garage doors often. Please avoid parking near or around the farm as these accesses must be kept clear. Thank you.

  • Please do not walk around the farm or let children or pets near it as large lorries, tractors and other vehicles move around it.
  • William is a Focus Farmer which means he can give tours at a pre-arranged time and as a daddy he loves children visiting too.
  • We have some sheep in the garden behind the farm but as these are not our animals we would ask you not to feed them.
  • Please feel free to talk to them as they love the company!

Please use the recycling bags in the utility room and we will empty them when they are filled. Also you will find a small brown bin in the kitchen and a large brown bin outside to dispose of leftover food (meat and vegetables) unless you fancy feeding our cats!!

Cyclists, anglers and golfers
We would be happy to store equipment in the locked garage if you request it and can dry out clothing if you wish.
